Credit information
If you proceed toward a pre-approval or application, we will obtain your credit report. We will tell you before that happens. Credit information is handled in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and applicable state law.
Website chat
This site has a chat assistant. It is automated software, not a person, and it says so. Anything you type into it, including a name, phone number or email address you choose to give it, is sent to us so we can respond to you, and is processed by our AI provider in order to generate a reply. We keep chat conversations only for the purpose of following up with you. Please do not enter your Social Security number, date of birth, account numbers or other sensitive personal information into the chat; the assistant is instructed to refuse it, and that information belongs in a direct conversation with us or in the secure application. The assistant does not provide mortgage, financial, legal or tax advice, and nothing it says is an offer, a pre-approval or a commitment to lend.
